This seminar is designed to provide you with information and productivity tools for Mercury (Hg) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES).  This seminar will go over the basics for those new to Hg and/or ICP analysis as well as some advanced information for the seasoned chemist.  Our seminar is focused on providing you tools to help you be as productive and profitable as possible with your sample analysis.

Presentation topics to be covered during this 1-day seminar include:

ICP and Hg presentations will be held at the same time in different rooms. You are welcome to go between rooms throughout the day in order to attend the talk that best meets your needs.

Ultra-trace analysis has moved to the forefront within the typical laboratory setting; if your lab is looking to venture down the path of trace to ultra-trace analysis as a new capability to increase the revenue stream or if you are looking to improve overall laboratory precision then you should attend this introductory course. 

We will cover basic laboratory considerations and setup for trace to ultra-trace mercury analysis and implementation of “Good Laboratory Practices” needed to execute trace to ultra-trace analysis.

Additionally you will be immersed in a short tutorial of our reduction analyzers and a comprehensive introduction to our “Thermal Decomposition Mercury Analyzer” for direct determination of solids, semi-solids, and liquids to meet your mercury analysis needs.
